Rusalka

I actually did about 95% of this a month or so back, then put it on the back burner until last night, when I spent some time touching up the skirt, her face, and her hair. Left it kinda rough, though, as I liked it that way. Done in Photoshop, the first piece I painted on my new Cintiq Companion 2 (woo!). Verdict for the CC2: love the item, hate the customer service with a passion because they shipped it to a totally random person in the wrong STATE, it took two weeks to straighten the mess out, and none of the reps I talked to ever bothered to tell me what was going on or even apologize for screwing up in the first place.

The inspiration was this stock photo. I didn't really capture the thing about her appearance that I liked, which just means I'll have to try to paint that model again, form this pose or one of the others there.
