Deeply Dreaming Jedao

Picture of maratai's character Jedao from his soon-to-be-published novel Ninefox Gambit, the first in a space opera trilogy coming out from Solaris Books...next year, I believe. maratai asked for Jedao, a tricksy, foxlike characters, with a background of yellow eyes.

Colored pencil on black charcoal paper, with the darkest blacks done by our laser printer. Yes the background was inspired by Google's Deep Dream, and I didn't do a great job on it, but the next time I do something like that, it should get a little better. Ah well!
